The prayer nut

A prayer nut is a travelling companion, but also an altar, a place of stillness. You carry this stillness with you in your pocket. When you withdraw for a moment and open it, you look into the hands of God. By carrying your prayer with you in this way, you are connected with the Creator and with the people whose names you have written in your little nut.

The prayer nut is made of wood and comes in different sizes, sometimes with a little ornament of coloured glass that I melt myself. The explanation is available in more than 50 languages. It also makes a wonderful gift.
