We do not place cookies and we do not track you across other websites. We only count, anonymously, how many visitors the site has.
We only receive the details you put into a form or comment yourself.
We only use your details to help you, and we never sell them.
We only process the data you enter yourself on this website.
We count how many people visit the website, which pages they view, which site they come from, from which country and with what type of device. We do this ourselves, without cookies and without Google or other parties. Your IP address is not stored: from your IP address and browser we create a code that changes every day, so that we cannot recognise you. Individual visits are deleted after 90 days; after that only daily totals remain.
What you send through a form is emailed via Brevo (a French email service) to Wiebe’s mailbox (Google’s Gmail). It is also stored in this website’s protected admin area, so that nothing gets lost. The website is hosted by Sundry Media. We share your data with no one else.
We do not keep messages longer than necessary to deal with them; they are automatically deleted from the admin area after a year. Comments stay with the post until you ask for them to be deleted. Messages recognised as spam are deleted after 30 days.
This website does not place cookies for visitors. If you choose a language yourself, your browser remembers that choice in the browser’s own storage; that data does not reach us. Videos come from YouTube or Vimeo, but are only loaded once you click play. This goes through the privacy-friendly versions (youtube-nocookie.com).
You can always ask which data we hold about you, and ask for it to be changed or deleted, for example a comment. To do so, send an email to [email protected].
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority).
