A celebration at the monastery!

Koningsoord Abbey lies in a beautiful location close to Arnhem and Oosterbeek.

This Saturday, 5 August, the Kloostermarkt (monastery market) will be held here. (Address: see flyer below.) On this day products are offered that have been made in a traditional, craftsmanlike way, in the calm of a monastic rhythm. These products of painstaking ‘monks’ work’ do good both to those who made them and for the user who becomes aware of peace and regularity in nature. Think of cheese, candles, ceramics, beer, felted products, wooden objects, etc. Delicious home-prepared meals and drinks are also offered. The chapel is open for a moment of silence and reflection. I will be there with prayer nuts and inspiring wooden objects. A warm welcome!
