My Prayer Nut is now on sale at the Rijksmuseum

The prayer nut I have been working on for 35 years is now on sale in the museum shop of the Rijksmuseum during the “Small Wonders” exhibition. Art can amaze and inspire, and that applies in particular to miniature art. From 17 June to 17 September 2017 the exhibition “Small Wonders” is on at the Rijksmuseum. After Ontario and New York, Amsterdam has the honour of presenting a magnificent exhibition. The focus is on the ingenious design of prayer nuts from around 1500. In art one looks at both form and content. In this exhibition the attention to the exceptional design is beautifully highlighted. With the prayer nut that I designed and made, the focus is more on the meaning and personal use: personal prayer and private communion with God. Highly recommended!
