Two exhibitions: “Verder dan kijken” and “Gevonden”

Dear art lover, I would like to invite you to two exhibitions:

Verder dan kijken

The first, titled “Verder dan kijken” (Beyond Looking), has now been set up in the Julianakerk in Apeldoorn and can be viewed on Sunday after the service and then on Wednesdays from 25 February, 09:30 – 12:00. It runs until 4 April 2026.

My work is new and has not been shown before. The materials used are a combination of wood, cast iron and glass from various countries.

A warm welcome to all!

Information about the SYMPOSIUM ON 14 MARCH can be found at Platform Kerk en Kunst – For contemporary art in contemporary churches.

Gevonden

The other exhibition, called “Gevonden” (Found), will take place in the Catharinakerk in the centre of Doetinchem. Put the dates in your diary now.

From 24 March to 1 May I am exhibiting in the Catharinakerk in the centre of Doetinchem. The exhibition will be officially opened on Sunday 29 March at 11:30. I will then speak about my work, with music by Elske te Lindert. Afterwards you can view the artworks over a drink.

The sculptures are three-dimensional and made of found materials, mostly wood, sometimes supplemented with metal, glass or stone. A varied selection of prayer nuts can also be seen.

The church is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 – 16:00. Every Saturday, and sometimes during the week as well, I am present to give explanations and to talk about the work. Admission is free; a voluntary contribution at the exit is appreciated.
