What? An Exposium?

Discover the beauty of nature through the eyes of artist Wiebe van Dingen

As an artist I have always been fascinated by the beauty of nature. My latest exhibition with my colleague Otto de Bruijne, called ‘Vallei en Zand’ (Valley and Sand), brings this fascination to life through Otto’s paintings, gouaches and drawings and my own ‘Bois Trouvé’, found wood. But our exhibition is more than just a display of artworks. It is an invitation to discover and experience the beauty of nature. On Friday evening 9 June the Platform Kerk & Kunst is organising an Exposium, at which we will each give a short explanation of our work. In addition, Carla Dik-Faber will speak about how artists can contribute through their work to “(w)aardebewustzijn” (awareness of the earth and its worth) and how we, as stewards, can put our talents to use.

So: if you are interested in art, nature and awareness of the earth and its worth, I warmly invite you to come to our Exposium. Sign up soon, because the number of places is limited. Together we can discover the beauty of nature and use our talents to protect the earth.
